That is not good news for New York City. The 2013 Mayoral election is going to be fascinating.

I think you are right. A relative worked in the Financial sector on Broad Street, NYC. For several years we discussed what was coming, she could not quite put her finger on it, but sometihing bothered her. Then in early 2007, she told me, "I've finally figured it out! Atals Shrugged in happening in real time!"
She left the financial industry shortly thereafter and is no longer living in Manhattan......
