I'm not a lawyer, of course, and said at the outset that the summary of knowledge, relying on others, says other than what Obama says. And Obama saying so does not make me believe him, he is wrong on a great deal of stuff.

I am happy to admit that I am not that familiar with the legal murkiness of EOs and signing statements and the like, and am happy to learn more about it.

I would imagine that a legal conversation on such subject matter between myself and you would be a carnival extraordinaire and as edifying as an intense debate on the merits of various dental anesthetics.

Or perhaps there are more than one problem with the US. You know, because it's a country, and they are damnably complex things? I know it's inconvenient when there isn't a single problem with a simple fix.
