People introduce retarded legislation all the time. Wake me up if it passes. We'll organize a 'satirize the TSA day.' for the day the law goes into effect.
The canary didn't die because this mine is dangerous, it died because it's lazy and wasn't raised with a proper work ethic.

I knew it, Republicans are gung-ho about this TSA stuff.
I haven't personally had an invasive pat down yet. The TSA folks in my home town are pretty nice. I often return with my carry-on luggage packed with home-cooked food (aren't stews supposed to count as liquids)? They inspect them but are always nice about it and let keep everything.
Miami probably had the lowest IQ TSA personnel I've ever seen (and Florida in general was the most depressing state I can remember visiting). Some of these folks were clearly mentally challenged; I'd estimate IQs in the 80-95 range for most of them. And very unprofessional, too. While a male TSA agent was hassling some South American woman about her passport, another female agent only a few feet away was laughing at either the situation or an inside joke between herself and the male agent at the top of her lungs (think 300 lb black Fran Drescher, only louder, and you'll get the picture), not being of any service to anyone, least of all the distressed South American lady. It was quite a scene.
