This guy's results are disastrous. It is a real shame.

Actually, this is a perfect example of a broken government.

On the one hand, Congress is abdicating its actual role because it is too busy asking ex-pitchers if they were juicing, or getting re-elected, or demonstrating our willingness to shatter the world economy due to our pettiness and incompetence.

On the other, the executive is either gaining more power or using the power that it has more actively, furthering the process that has led to a " unitary executive" and an increasingly tyrannical White House as a matter of form and not personality.

Basically, this is evidence America doesn't work. And the programs they are pushing will have limited utility.

The essence of tragedy is that it doesn't have to happen; but then again, it kinda does. This is that.

Unfortunately, we are at the point where we are betting that the malice of one party, engaged in power grab warfare, will inadvertently favor the little people as a side effect. Certainly, expecting actual advocacy for the cause of the people is a lost hope. The last place the people have allies ( Mr.Ps insistence notwithstanding) is in a few good judges.

Sorry to shatter any illusions but no jobs for August + Congressional antipathy to this report guarantees Obama a free hand to wield that hammer.

Now whether that hammer will hit right/wrong thing is another issue entirely.

that would be the usual mix of union zombies and corporate zombies with good government connections... all the rest of you with neither will probably not find it that stimulating, barring the trickle down...
