I'm happy with the lead in the generic ballot. Very happy. Means seat pickups in the next election. Very, very happy with that.

You see, you have to understand which polls matter and which ones don't. For congressional seats, the generic ballot it the most important. For POTUS, overall approval is more important than the congressional equivalent in terms of electoral outcome. An unpopular incumbent is easier to beat.

Ok, enough poli sci 101 for the day.

As long as this grinner is winning elections, I don't really care about anything else.
