Your vanity is hilarious.

The GOP is many things, libertarian, it is not.

But your Schwab/Oppenheimer/TD/Whatever I-Bank account is going to last FOREVER!!!

You might have noticed but this country has been moving farther and farther from Libertarianism every single day.

Be that as it may, I actually agree with you that Juggs is in a way a sellout. But at the same time, the GOP is not Libertarian in any way shape or form. If you could get the uncommitteds to become committeds, you could indeed take over the GOP and get into its power positions. But I think there is something about the Libertarian mindset that rebels against and distrusts authority, which party memberships and holding party committee seats, sort of represents.

In order to succeed in politics, one must become a politician.

If you were to run for office, I'd vote for ya. Reduce the amount of tax money spent on shooting people, and I am all for Libertarianism.

As I've mentioned before, I am perfectly happy with advancing progressive agendas through the private sector. The Church would be a fabulous venue to provide universal healthcare. If people were dedicated to it, they could support free Christian hospitals voluntarily. Then Progressives can build free Progressive hospitals, and there is a choice in the market as to which hospitals you support. Either way, the Progressive ideal of social justice is preserved without it being imposed by state fiat. After all Social Justice and Christian Charity are more or less the same ideal.

Private Property and Freedom are mutually exclusive. How can you say I am free if you can shoot me for stepping on your property?

Does that mean you consider the Tea Party to be libertarian? How am I throwing the Tea Party under the bus by inferring that they are not libertarian? I don't think they are. On certain issues, they are just as authoritarian as the next party, if not more so.

I think it might be more correct to say I may not be a part of what you consider to be a solution, but if you really want to call me part of the problem, I think you ought to point to something a bit more specific than a perceived slight against the Tea Party.

Nope.

Does the Tea Party differ ideologically from the Republican Party to any significant degree?

You want to keep making something out of nothing. If you want to believe I don't support the Tea Party and am part of some problem, bully for you. I have nothing to prove.

The Tea Party does not differ ideologically in any significant way from the Republican Party.

Because they weren't conservative enough, not that they weren't libertarian enough.
