The problem with Obama is that if he believed his campaign promises, he's a simpleton -- if he didn't, he's a lair.

And the only difference, if McPalin had been elected, is that Gitmo, bodyscanners, and net neutrality would all be proof that he was "worse than Hitler" and "shredding the constitution." Personally planned, no doubt, "because he's so evil (or stupid, depending on the what's working that day)." Obama, in his latest round of picks for top posts -- once again went for industry insiders. Had McPalin done so, it would be a sign that the Republicans are in bed with big business, and that he hates black people.
There no there, here. We're trying to parse out a colossal game of ass-covering groupthink, pretending ANYTHING would be different. It's pointless -- the only thing that has "changed" is the spin on both sides.
