This isn't even about democrats, it's about a kind of unforgivable hypocrisy. Bush tax cuts= no problem, but a tiny payroll tax that costs less than Congress' toilet paper budget, but goes to the little guy, that somehow breaks the bank?

I remain highly skeptical that there is any real correlation between tax rates and recovery at this point, too many moving parts that don't necessarily care too much what we do. But it's really telling. The word " perverse" comes to mind.
