Ammianus is right, what can be done now isn't the dirty little secret. The dirty little secret is that we are playing out a transition to something that started the minute Dresden was bombed and Japan was nuked.

I don't think people appreciate what they have created (for all the good and ill that implies;) the baby boomers, raised in the final collapse of traditional society set us on course for something different and unlike them, the kids today do not have ties to that past. Things have changed and there is no going back. What is coming though is worrying and all the protest and foot dragging of the baby boomers (or the tea party) is not helping. They sorta come off like Bernie Marx [that was the character's name right?] living, unhappily, in the Brave New World they created; unsatisfied with what is missing but full integrated into the leviathan. It is unhelpful and a distraction from the real battles for which we have to prepare.
