Not the first time you have called me naive, but i do not take it as an insult, for I am intentionally as unsophisticated as possible. Sophistication inevitably leads to a jaded cynicism which I do not desire to experience.

Funny how you deplore the War on Drugs, but all the rest of it is AOK? Couldn't you allow for a difference of opinion that puts some other parts of the gov in the same deplorable category as the DEA? Again you seem to confuse the application of libertarian minarchist principles with de facto anarchy. That's most definitely not what I want.

And yeah, the repubs don't seem to get that freedom is about more than money. All the money in the world can't help you if you have to live like a shut-in, afraid of breaking one of the tens of thousands of laws which we are all supposed to know, because ignorance in no excuse, after all.

you two fine gentleman are discussing how to best match government activities with government income....

a reasonable and necessary discussion.

some people are not interested in pursuing such dialog.

they want to destroy government as it has been known in America by default...

and a default will surely result in the destruction of government

followed by the American dollar, economy and standard of living.


Those voices advocating this path

are wannabe warriors at war

with their countrymen...

the cries are mainly of that

shrinking minority of angry

old white men on viagra

who have forgotten if they ever knew

that those patriots of yore in old Boston

dumped tea because English tea was the high priced product

they were forced to buy from a corporate monopoly

the crown chartered East Indies Company

that refused to compete with cheaper Dutch tea

just as good but forbidden by law and force of arms.


The authentic original Tea Party dumped corporate tea.

If todays "Great Americans" knew some history

they might have chosen another name.
