Health Care Bill still unpopular

1 year later, nothing changed. This bill will not survive. Even if the Supreme Court doesn't strike it down, the mandate will be overwhelmingly rejected in a repeal vote as a single item and the rest will collapse. A deeply anti-intellectual political moment in US history.

In the year since President Barack Obama signed the health care reform bill into law, Americans’ views of it have barely budged, according to two polls conducted to mark the anniversary.

In a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll released Wednesday — exactly one year since Obama’s signing ceremony — 37 percent of those surveyed said they support the law, while 59 percent said they oppose it. In March 2010, those numbers were nearly identical, with 39 percent supporting it and 59 percent opposing it.
