Possibly the most important gun of all time, it's up there, but not arguably the best. I am not a fan of the 45, I prefer the 40, 357 mag and 357 sig first. But I would take the 45 over the 9mm. Unless of course you needed a lot of penetration.
Anyway, an important gun of course, and amazingly as relevant a handgun today as when it came out, a mere 100 YEARS LATER. Quite a feat, quite a feat.
The thing is so darn customizable I imagine I will get one some day on that basis alone, even though I have resisted it for some time.

Chechen was the first thought , but if so , he's been in theater for a rather long time , or the AlQ network is rebuilding.
They need to wolfpack his ass with the countersniper teams they set up in Helmand. More leadership will get hurt if not.

It is worth noting that field loads are the cheapest . Modifications given longevity through judicious use of nail polish or in a pinch , wax , will allow prior modification of any quantity of cheap shells to become short range nightmares . If one were to have a thousand rounds per cheap shotgun stored , conversions could be made as needed .

Very good. Am thinking about an 1873 lever in 44 mag, imagine one could hunt a deer with that but not much more?
