Resilience won't help you if a two story wall falls on you in an earthquake.
Be prepared the Boy Scouts said. Prepared for what? Your most likely challenges.
Harkening back to my Dad's experience in the Depression, in the event of long term economic hardship, grow that that garden.
In the event of social disorder, know how to work some guns, and how to select the right one for the occasion. Toilet paper, ammo and canned goods sounds pretty good here.
