What is interesting to me about these political conversion stories is that the movement is most frequently from liberal to conservative, and less often the other direction.

A man that is not liberal when young has no heart . A man that is not conservative when he is old has no brain.
You won't see much movement towards the liberal end of things in an individual lifetime . Culturally, yes, as liberals win electoral points along the way ( even the most conservative version of America is still liberal compared to an earlier time ) . But I can't think of too many people that start out as young republicans and then go the other way .

POTUS remains a Demopublican at least until 2012.
According to the US MSM this changes everything. Let's consider history . . .
