I thought Ron Paul would have his moment in the sun by now, like all the other fringe candidates, but in the end he'd follow the same trajectory as his liabilities and, frankly, insane ideas outweighed any of the good points/ideas.
But on balance Paul isn't any different from a Bachmann or a Santorum. He's not winning anything.

gc, I am sympathetic to your plight. I have certainly witnessed abusive situations in the "faith community". I think they will have a rather tough time at the reckoning, if there is going to be such a thing.
If the Berzer seems a little defensive I think it understandably can be attributed to the fact that many people who live in faith have been accused of such things falsely, and grow weary of it. They also have a valid complaint.
